Not sure who your MP is?
Dear [name of MP]
I am writing to you today to ask that you contact Minister for Disability, the Hon Lizzie Blandthorn, and urge her to release emergency advocacy funding for deaf and hard of hearing people.
I am a supporter of Deaf Victoria and know how essential access to disability advocacy is for deaf and hard of hearing people and their families.
Having an advocate to turn to supports deaf and hard of hearing people to be their own self-advocate.
This is an essential service and I need you to do what you can to make sure that any deaf or hard of hearing person who needs an advocate can access one.
Thank you for anything you can do to help,
[your name]
Send the email to your MP.
Thank you for your support!
